A NEGLECTED SCHOOL POND RENOVATED

The objective was to drain, clean and improve the appearance of the school pond whilst keeping the safety of the children the main priority.
The pond was cleared of brambles and debris then totally drained.
The pond was vacuumed and thoroughly cleaned.
Oak sleepers were then secured around the pond edge to form a border and seating for the supervised children to learn about the wildlife within the pond.
A section of the fence was dismantled, small concrete posts removed and the fence was then reinstated further away from the pond edge to allow the children to move around safely.

The height of the fence was then reduced to make it a more appealing area.

The pond was then refilled, the area cleared of debris and levelled.
