Richard, Georgie and Simon did a truly AMAZING job of clearing out our entire 1/2 acre lake and constructing an oak sleeper retaining wall. They arrived promptly on the date arranged with all of the equipment needed along with their own welfare facilities and immediately got to work. They removed fences, tress, bushes etc, along with making a bund in our bottom field. They then proceeded to load the bund with the silt, blanket weed, oxygenating plant and bull rushes that were all choking up our lake. This will now sit here for the next couple of years and degrade and feed the soil below. They also took all of the trees and bushes down to the field so we can log up, dispose and burn in our own time. The oak sleeper retaining wall was then constructed once the lake was emptied and reformed using the blue clay that it was already constructed from. The ground was then levelled to make a path around the entire lake and had 60 ton of topsoil delivered and distributed where necessary. Grass seed was then spread where needed and the job was completed. Finally they cleaned up all the equipment, had it collected and left our property as if they had never been. Seeing is believing.... The guys were well organised and knew exactly what each other were doing at all times and the job was completed seamlessly.
